The NetOffer Marketplace is a unique business match-making system that allows companies to quickly locate both clients and suppliers.
All Account Owners on the NetOffer system are invited and encouraged to visit the C.O.R.E. section and set up a full Personal and Business Profile. The Personal Profile may be kept private but the Business Profile, if used, will be publicly available information. We presume that if you fill out the Business Profile you want to expose your business to the maximum number of potential customers and clients.
The Marketplace is a ‘blind market’ where buyers and sellers can meet but where the Buyer is always ‘Anonymous’ until the Buyer decides to reveal their identity. It is a lot like a dating service where the two parties keep their identity confidential until they reach a point where they are comfortable revealing their identity to the other party. A blind marketplace enables greater efficiency in many businesses as the Buyer can shop without fear that Sellers will ‘hound’ them or spam them with offers.
Marketplace Tools Available to ALL Account Owners:
The general purpose of the Marketplace is to help you find customers, however, just as you seek customers other businesses see you as a potential customer. All businesses have what we consider ‘Productive Process Inputs’ and ‘Productive Process Outputs’. Growing your business is about maximizing your customer base but also requires that you constantly keep your mind open to vendors who can provide higher quality and lower priced products and services that you routinely purchase.
- Business Profile: the Business Profile is where you provide the basics of your business location, contact information, summary description, and an expanded description. The summary information is displayed in the Member Directories of the various communities to which you are a Member and that contain your information. You may also upload a company logo/graphic as well as the Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn websites your business has set up.
- What We Sell: this section allows you to set up a create a comprehensive listing of the products and services that you sell including descriptions, images, and price ranges for each product or service.
- What We Buy: this section allows you to provide a detailed listing of the products and services that your business purchases including detailed information about the individual items with descriptions and monthly purchase volumes, units, etc.
- Search the Market: non-Platinum Account Owners may search the Marketplace for ‘sellers’ of products and services.
Marketplace Tools that are limited to Platinum Account Owners:
- Search the Market: only Platinum Account Owners may search the Marketplace for Buyers of products and services.
- Offers Sent: this section keeps track of Offers that you have sent to prospective Buyers based on Searches that you have performed looking for people who Purchase specific items.
- Offers Received: this section keeps track of Offers that you have received from prospective Sellers who have Searched the Marketplace for Buyers of items that they wish to sell.
- Inquiries Sent: this section keeps track of Inquiries that you have sent to Sellers of products and services that you have Searched the Marketplace for due to an interest you have in purchasing those products or services.
- Inquiries Received: this section keps track of Inquiries that you have received from Buyers who Searched the Marketplace for items that you sell that they are interested in knowing more about.
The Offers and Inquires tracking system is only available to Platinum Account Owners and it allows you to track your own Offers and Inquires as well as those of others who are reaching out to you for a connection.
